Mechanical Design / Project Engineer

We are recruiting the role of Mechanical Design and Project Engineer to be a key member of our small team based near Norwich to manage the mechanical design and development of new machinery and prepare and maintain design concepts, layout, manufacturing drawings, project schedules and project documentation.

ROLE

• Experienced mechanical designer who is familiar with structural and sheet work design.
• Must be proficient with Solid Works, creating concepts to final manufacturing drawings.
• Use Microsoft Office to produce, specifications, safety procedures, schedules, test sheets, machine manuals.
• Prepare project plans to monitor that time and budgets are being achieved
• Prepare and maintain materials and parts BOM, liaise with suppliers
• Assist shop floor with build queries, day to day running of production and testing.
• Assist sales and service client on technical support issues and spares requests
• Experience of electric motors, hydraulics, pneumatics, transmissions is an advantage
• Improve company procedures for international standards

Steel Fabricator / Sheet Metal Workers

Due to expansion, we are recruiting Steel Fabricator / Sheet Metal Workers to be part of our small team based near Norwich.

• Steel Fabricator / Sheet Metal Worker applicants must have extensive fabrication and sheet metal experience working with mild steel / stainless steel and aluminium.
• Must be skilled in TIG and MIG
• Good knowledge of reading mechanical drawings and schematics
• Must have good communication skills
• Good engineering knowledge, press brake, guillotine experience and assembly work would be an advantage.
• 40 Hours per week Monday to Friday 8:00 – 4.30
• Overtime opportunities available
• All candidates must be punctual and reliable
• If you are selected for interview we will expect you to complete a welding test and fabricate a part from a sample mechanical drawing to evaluate your experience and skills.

Electrical Design / Panel Builder / Site Commissioning Engineer

We are recruiting the role of Electrical Design / Panel Builder / Site Commissioning Engineer to manage the electrical design, preparation and build of the controls systems for our new equipment, assisting in wiring, testing and site commissioning.

ROLE

• Experience with SEE Electrical Design Package an advantage (training available)
• Essential experience required to create an electrical specification and BOM for each project.
• Use of Microsoft Office to produce specifications, safety procedures, schedules, test sheets and machine manuals.
• Site commissioning will require world-wide travel, to assist in assembly, start-up and hand over of the project to the client.
• Assist sales and service client on technical support issues and spares requests
• Motor control, inverters, PLC, power supplies knowledge essential.
• Fitting experience an advantage to assist with site commissioning
